Roy has over 35 years of business management experience. His background includes the successful establishment of five companies generating millions of dollars in sales. He has over 25 years experience in marketing and sales with expertise in account management, sales forecasting, product marketing, and implementation. This extensive experience in owning and operating his own businesses gives him the knowledge to relate with buyers and sellers on a buiness level, communicating in a language they understand.

Managed all components of accounting, marketing, and administration. Oversaw sales production of ten independent representatives throughout five regional warehouses. Coordinated and conducted trade and advertising shows. Developed an industry-specific product that was bought by the largest manufacturer.

Directed sales efforts for Simmons AirSleep through a sales force of 160. Mentored independent sales organizations for house brand sales. Administered all U.S. sales and budget forecasting. Pioneered the start-up plan as well as various operations aspects such as sales and marketing. Established independent distributors and sales representatives across the U.S. Researched and founded an outside contract manufacturing source in Canada and an independent distribution center in the U.S.

Linda Moss - Agent

 

Linda has extensive business background having been involved with various aspects of several family owned businesses. These business skills have served her well in the various charitable organizations in which she has been involved as well as in raising a family. Her most recent experience before joining Empire was as an Award Winning Residential Real Estate Agent at REMAX. These skills she used (selling, advertising, marketing, and communication) are now being utilized to help business buyers and sellers.

David Granger - Agent

 

David W. Granger, after more than a decade as an executive with a worldwide steamship company and the largest port on the U.S. West Coast, formed an employment agency dedicated to the hiring needs of the industry he knew well. In October 1985, Temporary Services International, Inc., known in the international trade and transportation community as TSI, opened for business. Since that beginning, Mr. Granger has become a respected human resources professional and a trained executive recruiter.

 

Prior to starting TSI, Mr. Granger held positions in sales, traffic, equipment control, intermodal and line management with Kerr Steamship Company in Savannah, GA and Houston, TX. In 1981 he joined the Port of Long Beach, CA as Assistant Sales Manager in the Trade Development division. Three years later, he was appointed Director of Public Affairs, taking over the port’s public relations department with an annual budget of $1.2 million.

 

Having a strong interest in real estate and many years of construction industry experience, in 2002 Mr. Granger became a licensed real estate appraiser and began doing residential real estate appraising. He has conducted more than 2500 single family, condominium and 2-4 unit appraisals. In September 2002, Mr. Granger teamed-up with Summit Appraisals and Real Estate Services to expand its coverage to the greater southern Los Angeles County area. Summit, whose main office is in Fountain Valley, CA, now services all or parts of Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles counties. In 2005, Mr. Granger also became a licensed real estate sales associate.

 

Mr. Granger sold his employment business in December 2006 and in May 2007, he joined Empire Business Solutions, Huntington Beach, CA office owned by Mr. Roy Moss. “Mr. Granger's more than 20 years experience in running a successful business, real estate appraisal and real estate sales gives him an excellent foundation for the business brokerage industry,” according to Mr. Moss. Empire Business Solutions, established in 1981, is a worldwide network of affiliated business brokers providing services such as; serving buyers & sellers, franchising and business financing.

Barry Ellerbroek - Manager of Franchise Sales

 

After a distinquished 20 yrear career in education as both a teacher and principal, Barry embarked on a new career as a Burger King Franchisee in 1985. During his tenure as a franchisee, he developed and operated three restaurants in Orange County, CA. He became very active in the local franchise community, serving on the Southern California Burger King Franchisee Association (SCBKFA) Board of Directors for 15 years, and was elected to serve as the Association’s President for two terms. Barry was also elected to serve as the Southwest Coalition’s representative to the National Franchisee Association Board of Directors.

 

Following the sale of hhis restaurants in 2002, he served as Vice President of Franchise Development for What A Lot A Pizza, a local pizza franchise. Barry also held the position of Senior Director of Franchise Development for Shakey’s Pizza. Barry is very knowledgeable of the franchising concept from both the perspective of the franchisee and the franchisor. This knowledge will be of great value to our clients who wish to explore franchising opportunities and will assure that the prospective franchisee will be matched with a franchisor resulting in the greatest potential for a successful business relationship.
